The wouldn't cat
Some cats would chase mice throughout the long dark night and birds all though the whole bright day. Some cats would paint the town red and scream the air blue. Some cats would prowl down alleys looking for fights, parade up main street looking for love. Some cats would purr, prune and preen, meow and menace, moody and mean. Some cats would dance on tight rope fences, spring from post to floor to wall. But not this cat. This napping cat , this lazy cat , this easy sleazy sleeping cat. This dozing cat , this dreaming cat , this kipper eating kipping cat that dreams asleep of ..... sleep. This rogue that rests in the arms of a meowing Morpheus, this tired timber tabby forty winking, slumbering soundly soporific. A sleeping tom too lazy to peep, a creeping cat that crept asleep. This crafty cat that keeps it's course, it's head pillowed upon it's paws. This shall not cat, this could not cat, this willful wooden wouldn't cat.
