HOMEPAGE
The plural of Buddha is either Buddas or Buddhas. The word originates from the Sanskrit verb budh meaning to know. Buddha is the past participle of this verb. The name Buddha can be applied to teachers of Buddhism past present and future but is especially asssociated with the founder of Buddhism Gautama. Gautama was an Indian philospher in the fifth century B.C.
