These sheets of Mulberry paper measure approximately 31 inches by 21 inches and are priced at £1 per sheet.

Notes on Mulberry paper

Mulberry paper, also known as Sa paper is a type of handmade paper emanating from South East Asia. Made from the bark of the living Mulberry tree, which sheds it's bark each year, it is an ecologically friendly paper. This technique of making paper from the Mulberry bark stretches back hundreds of years, originally developed in Burma and then taken on in Northern Thailand where this particular Mulberry paper is made. Like most handmade papers Mulberry paper has a rough thick texture, emphasised here by the inclusion of leafs into the paper. Mulberry paper is ideal for craftwork, card making e.t.c having it's own innate beauty. If you are looking for a special hand made paper Mulberry paper is well worth considering.
