These photo albums are hand made from Mulberry paper also known as Sa paper. The Mulberry or Sa tree is native to south east Asia and has been used for over 600 years to make paper. The paper is hand made from the bark of the tree which is shed anually at the end of the rainy season. Natural dyes are used and the paper is left out to dry in the sun as it always has been.
